ADK@home is a concept where we aim to bring our services right to your home. This program is specially tailored to meet the needs of elderly patients above 65 years of age who may not need hospitalization, yet require routine medical interventions.
 

Appointment of Chief Surgical Officer

ADK Hospital is pleased to announce that, Dr. Mohamed Shafiu, Consultant Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery has been appointed as the Chief Surgical Officer (CSO) effective from March 27, 2018.
 

Educational tours of HITECC and Theatre Complex

The opening of the Hassan Ibrahim Tier of Excellence in Cardiovascular Care (HITECC) and the new theatre complex was a big dream come true for ADK Hospital. It is not only a dream come true but also a comforting news for Maldivians to know that if they need such care or if they ever come in need of such care, they have access to the highest quality of standards available in the region.
 

Hassan Ibrahim Tier of Excellence in Cardiovascular Care and Theatre Complex - (HITECC)

This development is one of the largest and most sophisticated, state-of-the-art complex that this hospital has ever opened. This development includes three operating theaters and a cardiac catheterization laboratory. This is part of the hospital’s development under the project, Setting a New Benchmark in Healthcare in the Maldives. The value of this component is approximately USD 10 million.
 

Dr Pandian Wing

This building is named after late Dr. R. Jaya Chidambar Pandian (MBBS, FRCH) whose dedicated services to ADKHospital are embedded from the inception of its medical services. Dr Pandian was the first and the only doctor at the time when the company started its medical services in a small clinic in 1987 under the name of Mediclinic. He continued to serve this organization for 26 long years until his last days.

  • Celebrating Nurses Day Events 2024

    May 12, 2024 - Nurses day events every year is held to honor the dedication and hard work of nurses around the world. We, at ADK hospital, began the celebration of nurses’ week with a healthy home-made breakfast on 6th May 2024. Invitees from all the departments of the hospital took part in this event. The essence of the event was to uplift the spirit of inclusivity, appreciate nurses and their contributions while fostering a sense of community and well being within the nursing profession.

  • Celebrating Excellence: Highlights from the 11th Employee Performance Awards at ADK Hospital

    December 9, 2023 - ADK Hospital celebrated Annual Employee Performance Awards (EPA) at Ghiyasuddin International School. The Employee of the Year 2023 award was won by Ms. Seema Mohamed, Coordinator – Clinical Support Service, who received MVR. 15,000 cash prize and 5-nights holiday package for 2 people to experience the wonders of a Wild Life Safari in Kenya.
