Obituary - Abdul Rahman Dhon Kaleyfaanu (ADK) 1920 to 2014

It is with our deepest sympathy and sadness that we mourn the passing away of Mr. Abdul Rahman Dhon Kaleyfaanu (ADK) to who ADK is named after. He passed away this evening (24 July 2014) at home at 94 years of age.

 

Twenty three nurses complete Breastfeeding Counseling training at ADK Hospital

On 15th and 16th of June 2014 we conducted a two-day training program on Breastfeeding Counseling for nurses working at ADK Hospital. The program was conducted in close collaboration with Health Protection Agency (HPA). Dr Abdulla Niyaf (Master Trainer on Breastfeeding Counseling and Lactation Consultant and Senior Consultant in Pediatrics at ADK Hospital) and Ms Sheeza Wahid (Deputy nursing in-charge of NICU at IGMH) facilitated the training.

 

Ekuveri ADK

This June ADK Hospital launched its Intranet with the name "Ekuveri ADK". The name depicts the friendly culture at ADK Hospital and amongst its staff. The main aim of this platform is to efficiently manage the communications to and form the staff and also to go towards an organization with fewer paper. The staff can now register at Ekuveri ADK through the Hospital network.

 

Obituary - Dr. Abishek Singh (1984 - 2014)

It is with our deepest sympathy and sadness that we mourn the unexpected and untimely passing away of Dr. Abishek Singh. He suffered a heat stroke while taking part in DHIRAAGU road race on June 6, 2014 and passed away on June 6, 2014. The management and the staff of ADK Hospital convey deepest condolences to Dr Abishek's family. May he rest in peace.
