See and Treat

On March 1, 2014, the Hospital has introduced a new process of attending to patients who come to the Emergency Department. See and Treat is a slightly different aspect of getting patients attended by a clinician when they present at the Emergency Department. It is not a traditional triage system where the patient is redirected to general OPD, rather attention is given and treatment initiated quickly thus contributing to reduced ER waiting time and improving efficiency and patient satisfaction.

 

Dr R J C Pandian Memorial Blood Donation Camp

In memory of the late Dr R J C Pandian, the India Club, as part of the India Maldives friendship golden jubilee celebrations, have organised a blood donation camp. This camp is organised in collaboration with ADK Hospital, to continue the remembrance of Dr. Pandian, who has provided the Maldivian community a selfless service for his entire career. The Camp will be held on 24 January 2014 at National Thalassaemia Centre from 14:00 to 22:00 hours.

Celebrating Employees - Employee Performance Awards 2013

On 6th December 2013, the Hospital celebrated its high performing employees at the annual Employee Performance Awards. This year, 5 employees received the Silver Performers Award and 5 employees received the Gold Performer Award for their work in 2012. The prestigious Employee of the Year 2012 was won by Mr. Godwin Jarius from the Radiology Department. The guest of honour at the EPA2013 was the president of the Civil Service Commission Dr Mohamed Latheef.
