Biography

After completing my MBBS I worked in ADK Hospital as a Senior Medical Officer for 5 years. During this time I had a special area of interest in microsurgery and due to the shortage of local eye care professionals I decided to pursue in the field of Ophthalmology. In the course of my 4 year residency programme in Philippines, I had very hands-on skills training, which was closely supervised by competent and dedicated faculty. My thesis was selected to be presented at the Asian Neuro Ophthalmology Congress which was followed by its publication. I am currently dedicated in helping to advance technology and improve treatment options available for patients in the Maldives.
